Romney Marsh · Kent

The UK's number one
alpaca experience

The farm is now closed for visitors. The alpacas are still available for weddings, care homes and school visits across Kent, and our socks still go out by post.

A quick note. Our alpaca treks, meet and greets and the shop are closed from 23 August 2026. Socks remain available by message to Annie. Weddings, private hire, care homes, schools and care farming all continue as normal.

Alpacas have a way of slowing everyone right down.

They are calm, curious and a little bit nosy, and people relax the moment they meet them. That is really the whole idea, and it is why Annie's herd is just as at home at a wedding as it is in a care home garden.

Alpacas, wherever they are needed

Every visit is calm, well handled and built around you. Tell us the occasion and we will take care of the rest.

Private hire

Bring the herd to you. Birthdays, work days, fetes, or a quiet surprise in the garden. Tell us the occasion and we build the visit around it.

Weddings

An alpaca or two for your big day. They greet your guests, wait patiently through the photographs and give everyone something to smile about.

Care home visits

We bring the alpacas to care homes across Kent. Residents feed them, stroke their necks and sit a while. It lifts the room and stirs old memories.

School visits

A visit the children keep talking about. The alpacas teach without anyone realising, how to be calm, how to take turns, and where wool comes from.

Care farming

Time with the herd, at your own speed. Our open days are small and quiet, made for people who find the world a bit much. Being near the alpacas eases anxiety, builds confidence and gives social skills room to grow.

Care farming, done gently

It is a simple idea. You spend time outdoors with animals that ask nothing of you. For some people that means less anxiety. For others it is confidence, or company, or just a morning that feels manageable. We keep the groups small and the pace slow, and we let the alpacas do most of the work.

Socks, spun from our fleece

Every pair starts on the backs of our alpacas. The fleece is warmer than wool, softer than you would think, and it wears for years. Country socks, walking socks, bright everyday pairs and cosy bed socks.

The online shop is closed for now, so message Annie for what you would like and she will post them out.
